See, she took the first picture ever of dna and these two guys had the audacity to steal it from her and take all the credit.

She took X-ray diffraction images of DNA, which was likely a contributing factor in her death by ovarian cancer. Franklin then died before she could be awarded any recognition for her work.

So not only was her massive accomplishment stolen from her, but she died to make it happen. 

Unfortunately this happens far too often in science history. I think the only reason Madame Curie is even remembered at all is because she was married to the guy who would have otherwise taken all the credit. It’s really important to remember who made the proper achievements in science, not who found the person who achieved the progress.
